Dark Mofo- The Sight- Night Mass

The interactive cabaret piece explored art’s perpetual obsession
with witchcraft and sorcery. The Sight takes the form of both a
dark, durational cabaret show and an endless ceremony, delving into the idea of the performer as the subversive, shamanic other, and the power of ritual to captivate an audience.

It is an immersive, intimate and seductive space, offering diverse voices and representations of the sacred, the esoteric and the Divine Feminine through performance across the ages - though just as inspired by the witch/crone/bruja in modern pop culture as much as historical reference. It is an invitation to bear witness to the mystery imbued in a group of womxn gathering together, the power in the sound of womxn’s voices combined, and the mystic joy of the unfettered femme body/ies onstage.
